Modern website management is based around analytics. Who your visitors are, where they’re coming from, and what they’re doing on your site. That way you can serve up the right content. Google Analytics is an easy way to do this.
To set it up, create a Google Analytics account to get a tracking code, and then paste your tracking code into the widget.
Once you’ve set up Google Analytics, you can see stats like:
- Social media stats. Which pages are shared the most, and count visits from each social media site.
- SEO stats. Your top keywords, and which visitors land on.
- Mobile device stats. Which mobile devices are visiting your site, and calculate the percentage of mobile to non-mobile visitors.
